Today on the 5: I have completed watching the last two episodes of the 2001 series Robocop: Prime Directives. The 4 part miniseries acts as a direct sequel to the original film, and today's review is for the third episode titled Resurrection.

Today on the 5: There have been a bunch of streaming service stories from Paramount+, Max, Netflix, and Disney. All of these along with other larger trends in technology consolidation has me wondering what the future of entertainment will look like. 

Today on the 5: I was very fortunate that a friend of the show sent me an invite to Bluesky. Bluesky is a very Twitter-ish social media site is one of many trying to establish itself as a natural successor to the bird site, and like all the others has one major flaw that may doom any chance of success.

Today on the 5: One of the co-founders of Pluto.tv, an ad supported streaming service, has a new product coming in the form of a free physical TV. The company will subsidize the television by collecting data bout the owners, and I'm genuinely interested in how it will pan out.

Today on the 5: I was pretty shocked a few years back when I picked up Mortal Kombat 11 and was really blown away by it. I hadn't played a full entry in the series for a very long time, but that one game got me back in the fold for the new game coming later this year!

Today on the 5: Logitech has announced that it is going to start allowing some products to be repaired by end users. While the program is currently only going to be for a few in two mice, this is still a really encouraging annoucement that is hopefully just a first step.
