Today on the 5: Over the weekend I finished Frankenstein Unbound, the book that was adapted into the 1990 film I reviewed recently. For a long while reading the book, I thought it was going to be a solid but unremarkable experience. Then the last 25% of the book slammed into me like a freight train and made me change my estimation of it.

Today on the 5: Warner Bros recently announced the rumored changes to the HBO Max streaming service, now called just Max. There wasn't a lot of positive response to it, which was predictable since the decline of HBO has seemed inevitable for a while now.

Today on the 5: Lando and I recently picked up Gotham Knights after playing a one hour free trial of the game. While the PS5 trial for the title wasn't completely worthless, it certainly wasn't a good representation of the game.
