Today on the 5: Over the weekend I watched a science fiction film from 1980 titled Hangar 18. It's a movie that feels like the product of a bygone era of filmmaking, but I felt like it was still a largely successful movie overall. It may feel dated in places, but there's also a lot to enjoy here!

I find this laughable, because no machine intelligence will ever be the equal of a person. Also, that's a good thing!

Today on the 5: After the twin garbage fires that made up Picard seasons 1 and 2, I swore off bothering with the 3rd season. After it debuted, I started seeing positive reviews for it even among those who hate everything Trek right now. Based on that, I figured why not watch a few episodes.

Today on the 5: Here in the Unites States, most sports fans are probably going bonkers over something called March Madness. Basketball is utterly boring to me, but I happened to hear about March Mammal Madness, and this competition is one I can very much get behind!
