No one saw this coming.  How could a guy HATED in Detroit end up as a Hockeytown hero?  And a restauranteur here?  

Chris Chelios might be one of the more fascinating people we've known, and his story is terrific, telling us what he'd overcome to get to the NHL and ultimately into the Hockey Hall of Fame. 

There are plenty of laughs along the way as we'd shared so much behind the scenes of his time in Detroit, as well.  Who knew Kid Rock had an apartment in Cheli's restaurant next to the ballpark?  And how Cindy Crawford's number is in his phone?
