The Green Bay Packers dodge a bullet with Jordan Love's injury, but it still looks like the Pack will open up at home on Sunday with Malik Willis at quarterback. How bad is Love's injury, really, and what do the Packers have to do to win a game against the middling Indianapolis Colts? The CHR Gang is here with their post-Brazilian Wax-Poetic.

The Packers couldn’t quite get it up—on the scoreboard, that is—against the Eagles in 2024. Chris and Dave's commentary is, as always, as ragged as the field in Sao Paulo. Fortunately, podcast devotees (i.e. Gambling Degenerates) share some cheeky limericks and haikus to take the edge off the sour opener, but nothing could distract from Jordan Love’s injury and a Packers performance that fell flaccidly flat.

Posting its first show in 2005, Packers Therapy is the longest-running Packers podcast on the Internet. Hosts Chris and Dave began the show as a way of capturing the spirited chats the two co-workers had about the team around the office. The two have no pretense about being experts: they are just two opinionated shareholders who love the team, follow it closely, but don’t always see the Packers fortunes eye to eye.
The guys encourage comments and questions via their Twitter feed @PackersTherapy or email to [email protected] and read and respond to as many as they can during each show.

You all reached for the panic button when you saw Love go down. Now we can step back and exhale a little bit, knowing Love should be back sooner than later. There are a lot of reasons we can point to for why the Packers came away with the L, and all should be fixable. Let us not forget how different the Packers looked from Week-1 to Week-11 last season. There are a lot of reasons to be excited about what this team could be as the season goes on.

In a hilarious display of hubris, Chris and Dave look at the Packers' 2024 season and make their usual half-informed guesses -- there is copious pearl clutching and hand-wringing. Also, for some reason, the betting lines are back. With the opener against the Sao Paulo Eagles upon us, concerns continue about the travel to play across TWO time zones (Oh, the humanity!)—the boys debate whether longitude or latitude will have a greater impact on the team's performance. As the game approaches, the uncertainty is palpable. Trousers are sure to be moistened as kickoff approaches.

Week-1 in the NFL is unique. We still base our fan assumptions about other teams on last season's results. Coaches and players have the least amount of film on their opponent. Despite all that, expectations are always at their highest in Week-1. Now throw a trip to South America in the mix, and you've got a completely unpredictable game ahead. What will it take for the Packers to start the season 1-0 in Sao Paulo?

The Green Bay Packers made some surprising moves when cutting their roster to 53 players including trading for a backup quarterback and adding a kicker who wasn't on the roster. We discuss the roster and practice squad decisions and is this the end of A.J. Dillon's career?
