No Huddle Radio takes a deep dive into the biggest Green Bay Packers questions heading into Week 1: Will Keisean Nixon and Aaron Banks actually be on the field when the Packers open the season in Minnesota? Gil Martin and Sean Tehan break down two increasingly uncertain roster situations, with Nixon’s inconsistent training camp and tackling concerns putting his starting cornerback job in serious jeopardy, while Banks continues to battle knee issues that could determine whether he starts, rotates, or even opens the season on injured reserve.
The hosts debate Nixon’s chances of remaining a starter, how Jonathan Gannon’s emphasis on tackling could impact the cornerback competition, and whether Nixon’s attitude and recent comments are becoming a bigger problem. On the offensive side, the discussion turns to Banks, Jacob Monk, Jagger Burton and the Packers’ options at guard. Plus, the show reacts to Green Bay’s preseason loss to Pittsburgh, Brandon Cisse’s impressive debut, Jordan Morgan’s performance, Marshawn Lloyd’s burst and whether Trey Smack may have given the Packers their next reliable kicker.

Green Bay Packers training camp takes center stage on Cheesehead Radio #386, as CD Angeli, Kelly Hodgson, and Jersey Al sort through a roster suddenly allergic to job security. Keisean Nixon says he feels “punished,” which is one way to describe being asked to compete for an NFL starting job after announcing your extension expectations. Brandon Cissé keeps making that conversation inconvenient.
Meanwhile, Aaron Banks’ $77 million contract has somehow failed to earn diplomatic immunity at left guard, Jager Burton keeps hanging around the first team, and Jacob Monk is turning the offensive line into one of those logic puzzles nobody asked for.
Then Tucker Kraft returns from an ACL tear looking less rehabilitated than reintroduced to society, immediately catching everything in sight and reminding everyone how much attitude disappeared with him last season. The Packers’ defensive front is also getting healthier, Kyle McCord has apparently won QB3 by surviving longer than the competition, and Green Bay’s depth chart is beginning to resemble an active crime scene.
Plus, CD argues for defined X, Z, and slot roles over Rodgers-era street-ball jazz, Kelly hears crickets and smells September, and Al heroically attempts to stop everyone from overthinking preseason football, as usual.

The boys are back in town...and if Christopher and David wanna fight, you better let ’em. Fortunately, no blood was spilled, and no drinks flowed, since this particular session was recorded over the lunch hour and even Wisconsin boys understand there are limits to what HR will tolerate before 1:00 p.m.
Yes, Packers Therapy is back for Season 22, which means Chris and Dave have apparently learned absolutely nothing from the first 21.
Or perhaps they have. They’ve matured. Evolved. Grown wiser.
Which is why they spend the opening minutes calling themselves Christopher and David, administering a true-or-false examination about Ticket King, discussing cortisone injections, grandchildren, medical imaging, deodorant accessibility, and discovering that after more than two decades of podcasting they can no longer reliably remember the names of people they watched play football six months ago.
Welcome to the future.
Eventually, actual Packers football intrudes upon the proceedings, courtesy of Green Bay’s first practice game against Pittsburgh. The fellas wisely refuse to perform a Zapruder-level analysis of August football involving men who may soon be delivering your patio furniture, but there were enough breadcrumbs to awaken the dormant football lobe.
Most encouragingly, the defense appeared interested in attacking somebody.
Jonathan Gannon’s group showed pressure looks, defenders crowded around the line of scrimmage, one-high safety formations and the occasional suggestion that third-and-long might finally be treated as an opportunity to assault the quarterback rather than politely escort him toward an 11-yard completion. Lukas Van Ness and Brenton Cox generated pressure, the young secondary flashed some actual tackling, and for several intoxicating moments Chris and Dave contemplated an exotic possibility:
What if the Packers defense became...aggressive?
Naturally, everyone is advised to remain seated until September.
Elsewhere, Keisean Nixon continues his fascinating campaign to become the first player simultaneously annoyed by his best position and determined to make Packers fans nervous at another one. A particularly casual attempt at tackling provides Dave with an opportunity to revisit his theory that Nixon might benefit from being told, very firmly, what his job is. Meanwhile, the Packers appear to have other return options, which could eventually make the entire discussion considerably less theoretical.
Then there’s Trey Smack.
Two 58-yard field goals. Right down the middle.
That’s it. That’s the bit.
The man is named Smack, he kicks footballs extremely far, and Packers Therapy would like to formally request that he remain employed for the next decade so we can wring every possible variation of this joke out of the English language.
The conversation inevitably wanders toward the offensive line, where Chris unleashes the scorching-hot observation that the Packers might be better if the people assigned to block other people successfully block those people. Jordan Love remains lethal when protected and somewhat less lethal when several 290-pound men arrive in his lap. Jordan Morgan has a tremendous opportunity at left tackle, Anthony Belton is moving around, Aaron Banks remains more investment than return, and the entire enterprise carries the faint aroma of something that could become surprisingly good or catastrophically important.
In other words: football.
There’s also Marshawn Lloyd, who remains tantalizing enough to make everyone remember why Green Bay drafted him while simultaneously carrying two seasons’ worth of bubble wrap. Tucker Kraft is back frighteningly early. Matthew Golden, Jayden Reed and Christian Watson give the Packers a beautifully dangerous receiving corps provided everyone remains assembled. Jay Michael Sturdivant arrives sounding less like an NFL receiver and more like the senior partner who will be handling your merger. And somewhere in Miami, Malik Willis continues providing Dave with material for the eventual “I Told You So” episode.
Jordan Love gets the larger philosophical treatment too. Is he already very good? Yes. Can he become great? Maybe. Does he sometimes process the game at approximately the same speed Chris solves a New York Times crossword puzzle? That, ladies and gentlemen, is why you came back.
And because this is the first episode of a new season, optimism eventually sneaks through the ventilation system.
Maybe a quieter offseason was good. Maybe Gannon really will bring pressure. Maybe the offensive line settles down. Maybe Tucker Kraft comes back healthy. Maybe Micah Parsons returns and begins consuming quarterbacks again. Maybe this is one of those seasons where the Packers quietly become better while everyone is staring somewhere else.
Or maybe they’ll emotionally bludgeon us again.
The important thing is that Christopher and David have made a solemn commitment to handle the 2026 season with perspective, emotional restraint and healthy expectations.
This should last until roughly the second offensive possession in Minnesota.
There are no Ha Ha Clinton-Dix betting lines this week because even Packers Therapy listeners are not degenerate enough to gamble seriously on preseason football. Probably.
Instead, the guys disappear for a couple more weeks while Green Bay ventures into the cursed territory known as Denver, where the primary preseason objective is simple:
Nobody die.
They’ll return the week of September 7 with the preseason postmortem, the annual razor-sharp predictions that have never once embarrassed anyone, the return of the betting lines, and everything necessary to prepare for another season of football-induced psychological experimentation.
Season 22 has begun.
The Packers are back.
Packers Therapy never really left.

Posting its first show in 2005, Packers Therapy is the longest-running Packers podcast on the Internet. Hosts Chris and Dave began the show as a way of capturing the spirited chats the two co-workers had about the team around the office. The two have no pretense about being experts: they are just two opinionated shareholders who love the team, follow it closely, but don’t always see the Packers fortunes eye to eye.
The guys encourage comments and questions via their Twitter feed @PackersTherapy or email to [email protected] and read and respond to as many as they can during each show.

After the Packers’ preseason matchup with the Steelers, Myles Teteak and Tim Hamilton dig into the biggest takeaways, surprises, and potential roster shakeups.
Why does it look like Keisean Nixon is being “punished” by Packers coaches? Is Carrington Valentine poised to challenge him for a starting cornerback job? And did St. Joseph’s Kalen King? The cornerback competition is heating up, and the film is starting to reveal which players are earning trust.
The guys also dive into Jordan Morgan’s impressive performance at left tackle, the emergence of Baron Sorrell on the edge, Kyle McCord’s opportunities at quarterback, and what the preseason opener revealed about the Packers’ roster heading toward the regular season.

Lemps Talkin' Pack is back, and the Green Bay Packers are officially underway! Chris Lempicis kicks off Season 9 — and the show's first-ever LIVE episode — with a full breakdown of Green Bay's 28-9 preseason loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Don't let the final score fool you: there was plenty to discuss. Jordan Love and the starting offense got a brief look, Jaden Reed made an early impact, and Trey Smack provided one of the night's biggest highlights with his booming field goals. On defense, the Packers flashed some intriguing potential, including a sack involving Edgerrin Cooper and Lukas Van Ness, while the new-look defense under Jonathan Gannon continues to generate plenty of questions — especially with Micah Parsons sidelined.
But perhaps the biggest concern coming out of Pittsburgh? Offensive line depth, particularly at guard, and whether it could become the thing that holds back what Chris believes could otherwise be a top-five Packers offense.
Plus, Chris answers fan questions, talks Packers training camp, Jordan Love's potential jump, the defensive outlook before Parsons returns, and much more.

The Packers opened the 2026 preseason with a 28-9 loss to Pittsburgh, which would be concerning if anyone with a functioning pulse cared about preseason final scores. Green Bay actually led 9-7 late in the third before the bottom of the roster took over and the evening became a live-action waiver-wire seminar. So CD Angeli and Jersey Al skip the faux outrage and get to the useful stuff.
Trey Smack was the obvious star, effectively going 4-for-4 with two 58-yard bombs and briefly convincing Packer Nation that kicking may no longer require ritual sacrifice. Kyle McCord also helped himself considerably, Jordan Morgan looked increasingly comfortable at left tackle, Lukas Van Ness and Brenton Cox flashed off the edge, and Jonathan Gannon showed a refreshing willingness to attack rather than spend August hiding the defense under a tarp.
Then there are the less soothing developments. Brandon Cisse looks very real, which is great unless you're Keisean Nixon, whose starting job suddenly appears to be part of an actual competition. Jager Burton is making Aaron Banks' return to left guard less automatic than expected. The reserve offensive line remains unsettling. Jaylin Simpson had a night he'd probably prefer deleted from the cloud. And Green Bay's much-discussed roster depth may be less “deep everywhere” than “please don't get hurt at certain positions.”
CD and Al sort through all of it: Marshawn Lloyd's return, Skyy Moore's sudden usefulness, the developing corner battle, the offensive-line shuffle, whether Kyle McCord has already seized QB3, and what actually matters heading into Denver.
Also, CD manages to bring up the championship window almost immediately, Brian Gutekunst continues to insist windows aren't real, and two old Italians briefly derail a Packers podcast debating how to pronounce nonno.
Football is back. The score doesn't matter. The roster questions absolutely do.

No Huddle Radio is breaking down the biggest questions surrounding the Green Bay Packers as preseason football arrives! With the Packers preparing for their preseason opener against the Steelers, Gil Martin and Sean Tehan examine which players have the most to prove and which presumed starters could actually be fighting for their jobs.
Is Anthony Belton in danger of losing his starting job on the offensive line? Could Jacob Monk or rookie Jaeger Burton push their way into the lineup? The cornerback battle is just as fascinating, with Carrington Valentine, Keisean Nixon, and the impressive rookie Brandon Cisse competing for snaps — and potentially starting roles. The hosts also discuss Jordan Morgan's promising move back to left tackle, the impact of the Packers' rookie class, Trey Smack's development, and which young players could make an immediate impact.
Then it's time to look ahead to Pittsburgh: Which Packers starters should play? Who should stay on the sideline? How much should we see Jordan Love, the offensive line, the young corners, and new defensive pieces? Plus, the guys discuss injuries, Matt LaFleur's challenge-flag duties, and much more!

Packers Weekly is back with a deep dive into the Green Bay Packers as Training Camp Week 2 heats up and the fallout from Family Night reveals some fascinating changes across the roster. Was Family Night too sloppy to matter, or did it expose some issues the Packers need to fix before the preseason opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers?
The biggest story may be accountability. Matt LaFleur is emphasizing mistakes and penalties, while several players are discovering that starting jobs aren't guaranteed. Keyshawn Nixon is suddenly battling for his place in the Packers secondary, while Brandon Cisse continues to make a strong push. On the offensive line, Anthony Belton's grip on the right guard job is slipping as Jacob Monk and Jagger Burton emerge as legitimate challengers.
Meanwhile, the Packers' defensive line is becoming one of the most intriguing position battles in camp. Anthony Campbell, Jameson Williams? No — Stackhouse, Warren Brinson, McClellan and others are making plays and forcing Green Bay to make difficult roster decisions. Add in the exciting development of Matthew Golden, the emergence of young talent, and Jonathan Gannon's aggressive defensive scheme, and there is plenty to discuss.

Should Packers fans be worried, or is this simply part of the learning curve?
Gil Martin and Sean Tehan dive deep into the latest training camp storylines, analyzing Trey Smack's struggles, what they could mean for the Packers' special teams, and whether Green Bay may need to explore other options before the regular season begins.
