How good will the Jets actually be this season, and what kind of first round pick should we expect back in return from the Aaron Rodgers trade? It's important to note, Rodgers has not played on a top 11 defense in the NFL more than once in his entire career, the only year he did, the Packers won the Super Bowl.

Also, based on the Packers current roster in 2023 and salary cap situation in 2024, the Packers truly won't compete for a Super Bowl roster till 2025. If that's the case the Packers should trade away any player who's career should slide down prior to then, or any players who aren't in the future plans for the Packers.

If you would have asked me last September if there was any chance Jordan Love would work out to be an actually good QB, I would have said there was no chance in the world. While many give Brian Gutekunst praise as a GM, I believe we need to evaluate his decisions over his first 5 years as a GM, and by taking a closer look we can see how mistake after mistake has led to this team not having the personnel it should have. While it's difficult to do, had Gutekunst made the right decisions, most of the players who I loved, we would be talking about a Super Bowl dynasty being built in Green Bay to finish out Aaron Rodgers career.

Every year I personally feel like the Packers leave so much talent out on the board. In my redo of this years NFL Draft, I focus on grabbing players that are younger, better athletes, higher PFF Grades, and were ranked higher on the overall consensus board then the players the Packers selected. After going through this exercise as I was watching the NFL draft, I knew I would be disappointed but I never thought I would be this disappointed on the Packers missing out on dramatically changing the future of their franchise for the better.

Tonight is the night, Round 1 of the NFL Draft? If I was the GM who would be my selection, and what is my flow chart or draft strategy depending on the guys available to the Packers at pick 13.

Now that the Packers have the 13th overall pick what does this mean for our round 1 plans? If JSN is already drafted what should the Packers do? I believe trading back as many times as possible is always a good strategy and getting as many lottery tickets as you can to hit big in the draft. Brian Gutekunst should take a page out of his own playbook to try and get another 2024 first round pick from a bad team to ensure the Packers have enough draft capital to get Caleb Williams the consensus QB1 in the 2024 NFL draft, and probably the best QB prospect we have ever seen.
