Jordan Love has made it clear it's him or Rodgers. While Rodgers has made it clear he doesn't want a rebuild, and he wants some major players back with him which the Packers truly can't afford. With all of the reports that have been released it feels like both the Packers and Aaron Rodgers want to move on, and the trade market already feels like it's heating up. Both the Jets and the Colts have already shown interest which could cause a bidding war that could help the Packers be just a QB away from being a Super Bowl contender again by 2024. 

The Packers might have one of the highest year 1 impacts from their rookie class compared to most other teams in the NFL, and Gutekunst deserves a lot of praise for how he drafted and some of the bottom of the roster types of players he was was able to add to this team, but I still think with a few different moves this team could be the #1 seed in the NFC and I want to share what those moves were and what I would have done as GM this season. 

As it looks, the Packers aren't going to be moving on with any of their coaching staff, even though the Packers were quite underwhelming on both sides of the football this year. But let's dig into the data and explain why changes must be made if this team is serious about competing for a Super Bowl in 2023, and there are plenty of quality options out there if the Packers are willing to be flexible. 

The Packers lost with everything on the line, and it was truly the Packers blame, and the blame needs to spread over the entire team coaches, offense, and the defense overall.

Packers escape Christmas stealing a win from the Dolphins as they get very lucky in beating one of the scarier teams in the NFL in a very exciting win. Although they won, this team is facing many key injuries which could be detrimental to the Packers success moving forward. Packers beat the Rams as they should have, and this Packers offense has the potential to a be top 5 offense in the NFL with Doubs and Watson on the field. Packers playoff chances are becoming very real as every team they are rooting for is the favorite in Week 16, except themselves.. It's going to be tough to keep up with this Miami Dolphins offense, but it's possible, and how do they stop the Dolphins speed, and is it even possible. 

After the bye, the Packers might have the healthiest team in the NFL and that bodes well for the Packers to begin to make a run to make the playoffs, but if we don't it's really a question of how well Gutekunst truly built this roster. And we question Gutekunst for trying to fill holes on this defense with the two most important commodities our first round picks in the draft. The draft should never be a place you use to fill holes, but should be a place to get the top talent you can find. Had Gutekunst used free agency to fill holes on this defense, he would have simply signed Bobby Wagner, who the Rams now have who has helped lead the Rams to have the best run defense in the NFL this year. How could have signing a guy like Bobby Wagner instead of Preston Smith changed the fortunes for the Packers this season, and then we used our 1st round picks on actually impactful players.
