A time-honored method of evangelization in the Church’s history is to preach the Gospel first to leaders (kings, queens, and such), which would often result in their subjects following suit, if the leader converted. This method was used by St. Augustine of Canterbury, today’s saint. We may not have kings and queens or “higher-ups” to influence, but there are people we all know in our daily lives who have incredible influence. Listen in to find out who they are, and to be inspired to go on mission to them!
God has always desired to dwell with His people, but the way He now chooses to dwell with us is not sufficiently grasped by most Catholics. It’s radical, undreamt-of, beyond our comprehension, wonderful.
Why does Jesus repeatedly tell the apostles to plan to be persecuted, ridiculed, and hated, when they’re sent out to preach “Good News”? Most people don’t react to good news with hatred – that seems rather odd. How do we understand this paradox? Tune in to find out!
Many Catholics find it easy to relate to Jesus as Lord, but a little more difficult to relate to Him as “friend.” In truth, we need to have a relationship with Him as both Lord AND friend. Tune in to learn how!

Listen as Fr. Mattingly breaks down the vine and branches image from John 15 to describe how we can fall into one of three categories as a “branch” connected to the vine of Christ, and which category you do and don’t want to fall into!
Time is one of the most precious gifts of God, and we will be held accountable for how we used every day, hour, and minute. May it all be used for the glory of God!
Listen as Fr. Mattingly describes the three core requests of Our Lady in her apparitions in 1917 to three shepherd children in the small town of Fatima, Portugal.
Listen in to learn about the heroic courage of a 14-year old boy who gave his life for Christ.
