Welcome back to Paisley’s Posh Nosh on WFHB’s Youth Radio! If this is your first time here, then here’s a quick run down: On this bi-weekly show, I pick and review snacks and drinks that have a special seasonal, holiday, or other theme to them. Not only are my picks fun, but more importantly, they’re all healthy. Being a student athlete the majority of my life, I know first hand the importance of fueling your body with the right food and nutrients enabling you to perform and live at your best!
If you want to know a little more about me: I’m fifteen, a home-schooled sophomore in high school, founder and owner of my crocheted jewelry business Sweet P Crochets, a competitive swimmer on the local swim team Indiana Swim Club, songwriter, guitar player, lifeguard, I love spending time with my friends, and I’m also a DJ here at WFHB. Alright enough about me, lets get to this episode’s theme!
Like I not so subtly hinted at last time, this episode was going to be the ultimate Christmas episode! Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday.
Thank you so much for reading, tuning in, or both! I’ll see you in 2026, Luck+Love!

Welcome to Paisley’s Posh Nosh on WFHB’s Youth Radio! On this bi-weekly show, I pick and review snacks and drinks that have a special seasonal, holiday, or other theme to them. Not only are my finds fun, but they’re also all healthy. This episode was not only a special edition but it was filled with out of this world (out of this galaxy even!) flavor and health benefits. The theme of this episode was. ..Disney world: Star Wars! My family and I surprised my 4 year old cousin with a trip there and it was so beyond fun, we made lasting memories, and it gave our lives a refill of that one of a kind magic only Disney can provide!
The food pick for this episode was the Baatuan Beef with Crispy Topata and harvest vegetables and the drink pick was the Moof Juice (you can easily make this juice at home and I’ve attached a link to a recipe here!). Both picks came from the restaurant Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Star Wars area. I tried some of the other options from the menu that were also extremely tasty but these two picks were the clear easy winners. Surprisingly, these picks are jam packed with health benefits. Vitamins A, beta carotene, B, B2, B6, C, K, and E can be found not only in the Baatuan Beef meal but also the Moof Juice! Some unique antioxidants like quercetin, sulforaphane, kampferol, and others can also be found. Flavonoids, glycosinolates, and carotenoids are primarily found in the Moof Juice. All these vitamins, antioxidants, and nutrients aid in different health functions like digestive, heart, immune, bone, eye, brain, and liver health and more. Quite the resume wouldn’t you say?

The theme of this episode was Bread and Water. While it’s popularly associated with imprisonment, harsh and cruel punishments, or a rough way of life, luckily these aren’t the only things it’s attributed to. The phrase has a religious root, primarily in Christianity, and if worded properly it can be interpreted as “you hope that the person or people you’re talking with always have what they need” or “you wish nothing but good things for the person or people you’re conversing with”. See, there’s always a bright side! Not only can the phrase be found in religion, but also in U.S. history…
The food pick for this episode was the quick and easy, high protein, six simple ingredient, air fryer everything bagels! They’re one of my all time favorite snacks and I know you’ll love them to! The drink pick for this episode was the Stur electrolyte water enhancer. I use the Stur electrolytes all the time like before, during, and after swim practice, swim meets, or other workouts. The fruity flavors make hydration fun and tasty, along with boosting the benefits of hydration.

The theme of this episode is Back to School. One of the first things people usually associate with school is generally the apple. So, with this came the Apple Pie Chai Smoothie pick. This fall smoothie calls for only six simple ingredients and takes as little as 5-6 minutes to make.
When school is in session, extracurriculars, and assignments due, you need quick and easy meals that won’t weigh you down. So, I chose one of my personal favorites that checks all the boxes: the Prana Organic Chia Overnight Oats in the flavor Berry Fairy! All you do is pour milk or water into the mix and set in the fridge overnight. In the morning, TADA! Breakfast is made. I could go on forever about about all the health benefits both picks contain, but the most important ones are the high levels of vitamins, antioxidants, prebiotics, and probiotics that support immune, brain, digestive and other functions.
Tune in to Youth Radio on September 13th to hear which picks find the spotlight next. Luck and Love!
