Palpatine is one of the most powerful Sith Lords in all of the Galaxy (besides Snoke...I now suppose...) and with his legacy came many of his different powers, however in the movies we only got to see a limited amount of his abilities, that being his infamous Force Lightning. However today we've been shown a new power in CANON by the new Star Wars Battlefront 2 game. In legends, Sidious was one of the most, if not THE most over powered Sith Lords we have seen, almost as far-fetched as Luke Skywalker's force powers grew to be in the old comics.
