Pappy's Flatshare

With a new series on the not-too-distant horizon, here's the first of three special episodes made up of the best bits from the live gig introductions which precede Flatshare Slamdown recordings.Within it you'll find Pappy's (of course) and cameo appearances from Lou Sanders, Stuart Goldsmith, Danny Wallace and Felicity Ward. You'll also find beefs-a-plenty, a viscous torrent of innuendo, a glass being smashed, Lynx Africa, Greg Wallace, guns being mistaken for eggs and a foreskin mystery.Do continue to help spread the word about the show and if you're at a loose end why not write a nice review of it somewhere? iTunes maybe. Or on your Facebook wall. Or on your actual kitchen wall if you're so inclined.

Ho Ho Ho! Eleanor Tiernan and Lloyd Langford are Pappy's little helpers for this very merry festive special. It's crammed full with yuletide goodies, including... Clare Balding, geese, the Irish Times, a shelf, Naughty Peter, robins, 'tree flips' and Advocaat! If you want to give us a Christmas present, then what we'd love is the gift of exposure. Help us spread the word about the show: gift it to a friend, secret-santa it to your entire following on social media... or why not make a loved one the offering of all the Flatslam in existence (just put the URL comedy.co.uk/pfs into a Christmas card - sure it'll look cheap, but they'll thank you for it eventually). Please do also 'like' our Facebook page, follow Pappy's and Producer Ben on Twitter @pappystweet @_ben_walker and visit Pappy's Tumblr.

Hello Flaslammers!! You may or may not know that, as well as your beloved Flatslam, we also have a podcast called Bangers And Mash. The way it works is that we have a chat, listen back to that chat and then write little sketchy interruptions to drop back into the chat like bangers into mash. If you aren't already a listener we thought we'd give you a chance to size up our extra podular activities by sneaking a classic PBaM onto your Flatslam feed. If you like it you can find all the previous episodes at British Comedy Guide. Don't fret, your regular Flatslam will still be dropping on the 1st of the month. Pappy's Bangers And Mash: Series 2, Episode 8 - Pick Up Thy Zorb and Roll Wills & Kate! It's PBam 2.8. Sound the fanfare as the bronze, silver and gold medalists of podcasting hop aboard the podium of sound and sing their national anthems of chat and laugh down your ear canal at world record pace. Suzi Ruffell and Phill Jupitus join us for a very fun, very ramshackle episode recorded at the Laugh Out London comedy festival (https://laughoutlondoncomedyclub.co.uk/2016/05/20/comedy-festival-in-islington-july-12-18/). It's all in here folks - from the sublimeness of opera to the ridiculousness of Jeremy Paxman interviewing ghosts. Also, Dog-Pigs, 'the Jupes', Cyndi Lauper and Knock Knock jokes. It is so jam-packed that at one point the recording device breaks down. Do sing the praises of Flatshare Slamdown whenever you find yourself with a captive audience of would-be fans - there's loads more episodes winging their way towards the world in 2016!
