As God moves and guides us to a new location, it’s important to remember that we’re not doing this individually, but as a collective—we’re headed west together. 🚗
Last night, Pastor John asked us two questions to help us connect in community and address the isolation we see in today’s society.
Whose corner are you carrying?
There are four corners of community:
1️⃣ We need to belong internationally, knowing who we’re walking with and where we’re headed.
2️⃣ Sharing openly; let’s not hide behind layers that can paralyze our souls. We should push into each other and be honest with one another.
3️⃣ Engaging relationally; it’s important to draw closer together as a community.
4️⃣ Responding biblically means consistently asking ourselves, “How can I take my people to Jesus?” It’s about taking care of people and healing them as we go.
Who’s carrying your corners? 🫂
In Mark 2:6-12, the tools the men used to carry the man to Jesus were his mess.
We don’t have to go around our weaknesses to get to Jesus; we can use them as leverage to get there. The mess becomes the method.
