The US Food and Drug Administration has been co-opted by the appointment of industry lobbyists and others who value profit over maintaining a truly organic standard for foods labeled as organic. Mark and Baruch discuss the state of farming, what “organic” really means, agricultural policy and it’s effects.

Jeremiah Abiah is a teacher as well as a gifted singer and arranger, currently teaching at Berklee College of Music, which is so fortunate for the students there!

Baruch and Abiah discuss the music, it’s role in society, and more, and we’ll be listening to tracks from “Abiah sings Nina” as well as other of Abiah’s recordings.

As Abiah says in the interview, his voice can have an other-worldly quality.
