Has your life been changed by Jesus? Mark 5:1-20 shows how the enemy wants to enslave us, and have us looking for life in places where only death exists. Our pride can often cause us to believe that our sin is too much to be saved from, but the Bible extensively shows that nothing stands a chance against God Almighty. How do we know we’ve been changed by Jesus? We are free, sitting at Jesus’ feet, clothed, sober minded, and obedient.

The world is lost, broken, and in desperate need of saving; you don’t have to look far to see that. Right before Jesus left earth in Acts 1:8, He commissioned His followers around Him with a purpose: to be witnesses. We’re called to be witnesses in word and action to a dying world, in our work place, schools, places that we frequent. To tell someone about Jesus is the most loving thing you can do for your neighbor, so pray, seek wisdom, and go!

Do you have a real relationship with God?  In Psalm 63, the author, David, paints a picture of the beauty of a relationship with our Savior and we learn how we can know Him and grow closer to Him — are you in awe of a holy God? Are you possessive of God, is He your God, not just a god? And are you pursuing God earnestly through prayer and studying the Bible?

That sin you can't shake, the lie you keep falling back into.  It's hard to live with, so we tend to cover up like we're okay, like we've got it all together - the enemy wants us to believe the lie.  But God wants to free us from the bondage, He wants to give us life abundant through Him.  In this message, Pastor Phil shared his story of how God healed him from a life of covering up the hurt and pain of sin. We must believe God unconditionally, submit to Christ completely, and walk in truth and transparency in biblical community.

Are you a leader or a follower in your spiritual walk? In 1 Thessalonians 5:12-15, God has given us guidelines to walk in in order to be a godly leader and a godly follower. These roles carry challenges and rewards, and involve laboring hard, admonishment, encouragement, peaceful living, and patience.
