Feeling stuck? You’re not alone — but you don’t have to stay there.

Sometimes it’s not clear, we’re not convinced, or we think we can’t change.

But Romans 6 reminds us:

➡️ God’s truth about you is real.

➡️ You’ve died to sin and get to live with Christ.

➡️ In Him, you have the power to get unstuck.

You don’t have to keep running the same route — Jesus already made a new way. ✨

Death is the most obvious reminder that something in our world isn’t right. We weren’t created to die — sin brought death into humanity through Adam. But just as death entered through one man, life and hope come through another — Jesus. 🙌

We don’t have to fear death because Jesus defeated it. He’s our victory, our forgiveness, and our meaning. The real question is… what’s your plan after death?

Because death is certain — but in Christ, so is life.

Romans 5:12–21 🤍

The Benefits of a Relationship with God ✨

When you have a relationship with God, everything changes. 💭

It puts your problems in perspective—because even your suffering has purpose. God uses it to build endurance, character, and hope that never disappoints. 🙌

Our relationship with God is rooted in His love—undeserved, unearned, and unshakable. ❤️ Through Jesus, we’ve been justified, reconciled, and given access to peace that the world can’t offer.

The best thing about Christianity isn’t what we get, but who we get. 🤍

This week we looked at Romans 4 and the incredible truth that we are saved by faith, not by our own works. Salvation isn’t something we can earn—it’s something that’s credited to us through Jesus. 💥

Before we ever do anything, our identity in Christ comes first. And when doubts creep in, we can rest in this: faith over feelings, focus over distractions, and trust over fear. ✝️

“Dying for Access” 🔑Pastor Jon dives into Romans 3 where we are reminded that righteousness isn’t earned—it’s accessed. Through Jesus, we’ve been given direct access to God, not because of what we’ve done, but because of what He’s already done.

💡 The Promise of Access: It’s for everyone who believes.

💰 The Price of Access: Jesus paid it all—justified, redeemed, and set free.

⚡ The Power of Access: Nothing we do earns it, but everything changes when we believe it.

We don’t have to fight for access—it’s already been given. Will you have the courage to believe it?

Pastor Chad digs deep into Romans 3 and reminds us of the weight of sin and the beauty of the gospel. ✨

Paul shows us that we all fall short—none of us are righteous on our own. Sin isn’t just something we stumble into; it’s what we naturally choose. But the good news is that God, in His justice, doesn’t leave us there. 🙌

The law reveals our brokenness, but it also points us to our desperate need for a Savior. True righteousness doesn’t come from what we do—it comes through faith in Jesus Christ. 💜

Once we understand the depth of our need, we can fully embrace the hope and freedom found in Him. 🕊️

Good Lies We Believe 👀

Pastor Jon continued through Romans at the Crossroads and discussed 3 lies that keep us from truly depending on Christ:

1️⃣ “I’m not that person.”➡️ Comparing yourself to others won’t make you right with God (Romans 2:1-5)

2️⃣ “I’m not that lost.”➡️ It’s not about how far you’ve strayed—it’s about trusting in Jesus’ finished work (Romans 2:16-20)

3️⃣ “I’m not that bad.”➡️ Even our best efforts fall short. Rely on Christ, not your own goodness (Romans 2:21-29)

We don’t need to try harder—we need to depend deeper. 💯

Pastor Chad continued our Romans series by talking about the wrath of God. In times like these, it’s not always easy or comfortable to think about God’s wrath. But Pastor Chad reminded us that despite those feelings, we actually need God’s wrath. If grace is God’s love, His wrath is a reflection of His perfect justice. 🙏

Romans 1:18 says: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.” (NKJV)

God’s wrath isn’t impulsive—it’s deliberate. It’s against those who reject good and embrace evil. We’re living in a time where we’re witnessing His passive wrath on a society that has lost respect for life and morality. In these times, we need to fall to our knees and repent. 🙌

Let His wrath help us look within, identify the wickedness in our own hearts, and recognize the brokenness in the world so we can bring God’s hope and grace to others. ✝️

What a night in Johnson County! 🙌

We officially opened our doors, and it was an incredible turnout! So many new faces came to hear God’s Word, and countless new connections and friendships were formed. 🤝

Pastor Chad kicked off our new Romans series preaching live from the Johnson County location — and it was a powerful reminder of the transformation the Gospel brings to everyone.

The Gospel brings:✨ Promise – Prophetic words fulfilled👤 Person – Jesus, the image of the invisible God🎁 Provision – Grace delivered into our lives🎯 Purpose – It’s for you, but not about you. It’s all for His name’s sake

“…concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord… declared to be the Son of God with power… Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations”— Romans 1:2–6 (NKJV)

We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to see what God continues to do through this new community! 🕊️🔥
