This week is Valentine's Day themed, so we're setting the fireplace, breaking out some heart shaped candy, and getting all Barry White baritone with our voices in order to share these two stories that highlight how sweet it is to be loved (by you). Who would know better than the guy who wrote the Notebook, Nicholas Sparks? These stories are meme-able, quotable, and create a culture within the fans that will live on forever. It's time for crime! This week we're covering a couple of new age crime stories, where the killers are hidden up until the very end. Why do we as a society love crime stories? We'll also get into what real life crime stories effected us and how their entertainment value is a controversial subject.

Highlighting the 2008 comedy Tropic Thunder and the 2017 modern classic Little Fires Everywhere, we'll give you something to take your mind off of the real life show going on in the world this past year. Christmas tiiiiime is heeeere. Hey friends! Tis the season to let the snow fall, open some presents, and reflect on a crazy year. 'Tis the season for giving! In this episode, we break down two stories on the separate ends of the present giving spectrum - a nice intimate story of thoughtfulness with the Gift of the Magi, and the all out hysteria and panic of trying to buy a last minute hot present in Jingle All The Way! December 10th is Human Rights day, so we thought we would pull some stories that pull a lot of issues to the forefront. Taking both fiction and real life in this episode, we cover the film On the Basis of Sex starring Felicity Jones and the time honored classic comic book arc Days of Future Past, pulled from the Uncanny X-Men issues #141 & #142. We respectfully cover a lot of ground in this one.
