    So... it looks like Dimmer was mistaken, the entire treatment study is not yet available but here is a preliminary write-up on it (english abstract) and there is another paper currently under review. Herscu, O. (2021). Treatment for Maladaptive Daydreaming: A pioneering study on the development and evaluation of an online intervention based on mindfulness meditation and self-monitoring. Doctoral dissertation presented to the School of Social Work, University of Haifa, Israel (in Hebrew, English abstract).
