Jessie Desmond's Book 'Saucers of The North A History of UFOs in Alaskan Airspace'.

Kevin Randle
In this up dated version of the 2000 book about the sightings over Washington, D.C. in 1952. The Washington Nationals examines the case in depth, adding additional commentary, witness interviews, and new information. The sightings took place on two consecutive Saturdays at what is now the Ronald Reagan National Airport and involved multiple radar confirmation, reports from pilots, both military and civilian, and attempted intercepts by fighters. Although dismissed, officially, as nothing more than a temperature inversion, those involved, including the radar operators, airline and fighter pilots, dispute those conclusions. This examination of the event, along with sightings from other parts of the country and the situations that developed from the presidential interest in UFOs, is one of the most comprehensive studies of that segment of UFO history.

Peter Panagore
When Peter Baldwin Panagore died on the side of a mountain, his life was forever changed. Decades later, the intense spiritual journey continues, with a story that combines the thrills of a wilderness adventure with the awe-inspiring elements of a paranormal novel.
In March of 1980, college senior Peter Panagore went ice climbing on the world-famous Lower Weeping Wall, along the Ice Fields Parkway in Alberta, Canada. Panagore's death experience changed his life and resulted in an intense spiritual journey that has continued for decades. It impelled him to pursue a master's degree at Yale Divinity School, focusing on systematic theology and Christian mysticism. His educational background coupled with 30 years of meditative practice and 20 years of professional work with the dying and grieving has given him unique insight, language, and perspective on heaven, God, death, life, love, beauty, and hope.

Jessie Desmond
A historical examination of UFOs in Alaska airspace spanning from native oral traditions, early Russian Alaska, Alaska as a US territory, Alaska as the 49th state, and to the present time. UFOs have been present earlier than most suspect. There are military ties and even some conspiracy theories.
Saucers of The North provides a linear examination of Alaskan history based on the perspective of reported UFO activity. The social and cultural impact of UFOs have turned ufology into an area of interest and even the base of some fringe sciences. Alaska is known to have a high amount of UFO reports per capita. Saucers of the North expands on that and dives deep.
