On this week's episode of Town Hall: A Black Queer Podcast, Bob the Drag Queen and Miss Peppermint explore the topic of Parenthood. Renn Miano (@nonbinaryicon), an Irish DJ, writer and founder of Origins Eile, a grassroots community-responsive organization dedicated to creating safe spaces & platforms for QTIBPOC, opens up about their IVF journey. Zion Lennox (@knightsofzion), a DJ, and cyber security professional, and happily married gay man, speaks to us about his fully queer upbringing. We also hear from, Precious Brady-Davis (@preciousbradydavis), an American Transgender activist, award-winning diversity advocate, and author of “I Have Always Been Me”, who shares what they've learned from starting a family with fellow trans activist Myles Brady-Davis. And lastly, we hear from Bob's Uncle Steve, Steven Alexander, who is a gay activist, chef, minister, and father to Bob’s cousin Tralana Wyke (@capri_111). The father and daughter duo has maintained their unique and close relationship throughout Steve’s HIV-positive diagnosis and treatment.
