Normy sure knows how to live. He grew up in Canada, well no it was the United States, but then Canada again, then Europe, then the Middle East, then Korea, then Australia…

While most of us find a comfortable rhythm to what we’re doing that kind of lifestyle where you’re always changing thing does sound kind of … exotic? It appeals most to a certain personality type – an ENFP.

In this episode Kate talks with her pal Normy who dared to imagine living the kind of life he really wanted to live. Even when he was a teenager, in Grade 11 he forged his parents’ signatures so he could travel to Europe. They finally tracked him down in Greece.

The Four Temperaments. Almost sounds like a popular Motown group from the 60’s doesn’t it? It’s a actually a proto-psychological theory the Greek physician Hippocrates to describe personality types.

Melancholic personalities are precise, conscientious, and cautious. They make good surgeons.

Phlegmatic personalities are steady and supportive. Calm and unflappable in a crisis
