Early January 2023 saw an extraordinary amount of rain throughout all of California. On Saturday, Jan 14th, it rained steadily and hard all day and a number of regulars made a point to visit. Enjoy some time on Main Street USA with the rain.

A huge thanks to Twitter users @twaterman99 (Tanner) and @33_Wonderland for their contributions and went out of their way on a dreary, rainy day to get some great recordings. I asked to see if someone could get 5 minutes and Tanner went above and beyond with 10 minutes. I truly appreciate it!

This is several recordings of the Dapper Dans during the holiday season. I realize this is a little late for Christmas but I did record this after the new year after all.

The first small set is while they perform on the Horse-Drawn Street Car down Main Street USA as they start from Town Square. After that short performance, they come back down from Main Street from The Hub and park in front Coke Corner.

Later in the day I caught a set in front of the firehouse.

Start off at California Adevnture’s park entrance and meander down Buena Vista Street with its Christmas playlist, then wander down Hollywoodland. Afterward, spend some time in Avengers Campus including most of Dr. Strange’s show featuring Thor. Head off through Carsland, hear some live a cappella music in Pacific Wharf, walk around all of Pixar Pier, veer off into Grizzly Peak Recreation Area and Airfield, then head back down Buena Vista Street to the exit.

Take a walk around Disneyland’s West Side near dusk as the crows begin to arrive for the night. We  begin at the turnstiles and up through Main Street with a few nice moments, spend some time in Galaxy’s Edge and slowly make our way back to the front of the park. This is truly ambient noises with occasional higher background music audio in parts than others. I will need to upgrade my equipment so I can easily adjust levels during the recording.

• Slowly head down Main Street USA
• Moment at Fantasy Faire and the Royal Theatre
• Fantasyland West
• Head down Big Thunder Trail to 1st Galaxy’s Edge entrance
• Full walk around Galaxy’s edge down the First Order corridor, up the steps to the left of the Millennium Falcon, down the Market and Resistance Camp
• Head past Splash Mountain and hang along the banks of New Orleans Square
• Go up through Frontierland
• Backtrack a little in Adventureland
• Head back down Main Street USA to exit.

A walk-through of all of Galaxy’s Edge - No attractions included. Start from the Critter County entrance and travel along the Resistance area, to the south bathrooms, up to the Millennium Falcon and up through the Black Spire Outpost Market then exiting through the Fantasyland side Big Thunder Trail entrance.

This is pure ambiance that will mostly be compared to white noise.
