In this episode Emma is joined by Parker Valby, the 2022 NCAA Cross Country runner up. Parker runs for the University of Florida and prior to placing 2nd at the 2022 NCAA Cross Country Championships, she had previously placed 2nd at the 2022 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 5k. Throughout this convo, Parker talks about her NCAA Cross Country Championship experience, her mindset and strategy going into the race, her relationship with Katelyn Tuohy, what helps her stay grounded amidst all the pressure, when she began to focus on running, her college recruiting process, her mileage and cross training combination for training, how she mentally got through being injured, her goals for her running career, and more.
