They became powerful as they fought as one, with one goal. Likewise, today, the power of community is available to us when we stand together to love and honour God in one accord.

Dr DJ Konz kicks off ournew series "Together", by considering the example of community that God shows us. We see a triune God in perfect unity and fellowship - who has no need and yet has chosen to show his power, love and glory by creating humanity. Being made in God's image, we have been created to live in community. It is the community that Christ (and His body) provides for us, which brings purpose and fulfilment to our lives.

2 Peter 1:1-11. Dharsh Williams concludes our Forward series looking at Peter's charge to open his second letter. The apostle reminds us that in Jesus and in His word we have everything we need for our lives. In light of all we have in Christ - and even in these days of pandemic when everything looks different - we need to remember to make every effort to live fruitful lives that honour and please our Father.

Acts 8:1-8. Ps Hilary Williams continues to build on our vision for 2020-21, by considering the way the early church was forced to scatter. Much persecution fell up on the church, but God continued to built a powerful, proclaiming church through the disruption. We must remember that God is not limited by persecution or pandemic - moreover, God works through the disruption make us more fruitful. In our present moment of seeming chaos, God is no less at work and calls us to continue to live our lives for the gospel of Christ.
