Guest speaker Tania Harris (God Conversations) shares on how to better hear the voice of God. While our instinct is to pursue a formula to hear from God, we must instead pursue relationship as context for conversing with our Maker. As with human relationships, we learn over time the heart and nature of God - and it is in this manner that we understand and hunger to hear the voice of the Lord of all.

Ps Louis Baron kicks off our new series looking at the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Whereas religion only promotes outer works, Christianity offers transformation from inside-out - through the power of the Spirit. The good news, is that the Holy Spirit does make himself available to us and His baptism is our birthright provided we will ask Him and seek Him for it.

Romans 8:12-17. As our Adopted series heads for home, Andrew Mihaleff considers the role of the Holy Spirit. While we rightly love the Holy Spirit for His power and gifts, we need to see them through the filter of our adoption. The purpose of the Holy Spirit is always to lead us back into intimacy with God, and by His power, He leads us and moulds us into the royal children that God has called us to be.

Romans 8:31-39. Ps Hilary Williams looks at the assurance in Christ that adoption brings. Paul acknowledges that we have much to fear as humans, but in Christ we have the perfect and complete antidote to all fear. Knowing that God is for us is not only the heart of our adoption but the key to us having God's assurance that we are His and that He is governing our lives.

Ephesians 1:3-8. Ps Louis Baron considers the relationship between being adopted and living a holy life. Being children of God means we walk as He does. Holiness is not just an inner reality, but to be caring for others in body and soul. While the needs around us are overwhelming, understanding how precious are to our Father and the lengths He has give to for our adoption, will keep us encouraged to live lives that serve others and honour God.
