While many mistake pain as judgment, we must realise that trials are actually used by God to grow and shape our faith. We will not face discipline with despondency when we become more fully aware of God's care of us.

Hebrews 11:35-12:3. Ps Hilary Williams opens our series looking at how suffering fits into a Christian worldview. We wrestle with a loving God allowing for pain in our world - many believe God is either powerless, careless or unloving. However, these conclusions are driven by our own self-centred assumptions. We must realise that God's priority is for our heart for eternity, before our temporary happiness.

Ps Hilary Williams concludes our Spirit Filled Life Series takes us through 1 and 2 Corinthians to show us that His ongoing work and ministry is indispensable in the life of a Christians. The Holy Spirit plays a crucial role in every aspect of the Christian's journey. The Bible teaches that to live as Spirit-filled and empowered people is to be the norm, not the exception. Because He is indispensable, we need Him more and more, day by day. Hilary challenges us to live a life surrendered to the Holy Spirit and to be continually filled with His presence and power.
