The "Inverted Thinker" archetype is continued with some differences between men and women being discussed. Sense of self and identity does not come from your sexuality. God has an objective plan for our lives and identity. It can't be made subjective.
Self-worth being put into physicality can also be damaging because of not knowing and respecting the difference in body types. The breakdown of "big is beautiful" is also discussed.

"The Inverted Thinker" is further explained in how they identify themselves by their physical body. They attempt to find validation through gender and preferences. Reasons why this falls apart are discussed. Body modifications only make it worse in the end.
Brandi explains how certain traits or actions such as emotions and manual labor don't make a man into a woman or a woman into a man…along with how molestations and sexual abuse causes many people to think/believe that they're either meant to be the opposite gender or be attracted to their same gender. Counterfeit inspiration and labeling takes root.

Shawn explains how even when someone rises to the top, they're not completely or truly satisfied/happy. The second family division, "The Mentalists" are delved into. They find their identity from their own thought structure and systematic beliefs. Brandi describes the dangers for that division when they are questioned on what they think. The influences around us can be a bigger part of us than we realize.
Getting overly caught up in your own mind can trick you and create delusions. You think you have things handled and figured out when you really don't. Brandi shares how spiritual warfare can potentially have more of an impact on them.

Brandi couldn't see the quality in what she did as she strived to never disappoint or fail. When your fulfillment is in your relationship roles, it's easy for abusers to take control. Brandi shares some ways in how her abductor took advantage of that.

Shawn continues to share his past experiences of living in the "Martyr" subtype. He didn't know what would truly help him during that time and felt that if he did enough good things, he would gain more from God, but found out that it wasn't the case later on…
Brandi introduces the"Careerist," which is the second subtype of the "Success Chaser." They are related to the Martyr, but find more of their identity in being successful in their relationship roles.
Brandi also explains how she "lived" in this subtype and how life draining it was.
