Kimberly Brooks is a contemporary American artist known for her portraits and landscapes in series addressing history, memory, and identity. Her work has been showcased in numerous juried exhibitions among museum curators including the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Museum of Modern Art (MOMA). Today I get to share my interview with Cory Huff the founder of The Abundant Artist. Cory has been helping artists sell art online since 2009. He has helped hundreds of artists just like you figure out how to navigate the hidden path of the fine art career.

In 2016, Harper Collins published Cory's book, How to Sell Art Online: Live a Creative Life on Your Own Terms.

His writing has appeared in Professional Artist Magazine, multiple newspapers, and dozens of radio shows and podcasts. He has guest lectured on marketing at schools like Southern Methodist University, Pacific Northwest College of Art, and the Fashion Institute of Technology and given workshops in multiple countries. He is also a serial entrepreneur and marketing consultant.

As someone who's on the path to devoting all of my professional time to a full-time fine art career, I find Cory's teachings indispensable. If you're interested in becoming an abundant artist, I highly recommend you check Cory out.

What I love about his style is he creates community among artists and shows that there's no one right path to success. Then he provides actionable tips to forge a path that feels true to you.

Not only does he tackle the motivational, inspirational side of succeeding as an artist, but he also gives practical advice, including how to know when it's time to raise your prices and how to figure out if licensing is a good fit for your art.

Kyle's work is truly a feast for the eyes, whether the subject is figurative, floral, landscape, or cityscape. His sensitivity to light and color temperature belie the fact that he's only 21 years old. 

Kyle’s work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions around the country and has received several awards including the gold medal in the 30th annual Oil Painters of America National Show. Additionally, Kyle is a Signature Member of Oil Painters of America, Plein Air Painters of America and a member of Salmagundi Club. "Painting, to me, is an extremely passionate experience. I paint as much as I can, and hope that I can communicate with the viewer what I saw and how I felt each time that I pick up a brush."
