Pastor Doug Wilson is a husband, father, grandfather, author, Youtube star and the leader of the Christ Kirk Christian community in Moscow, Idaho.

He's also a man unafraid to speak the truth in a quiet but firm, compassionate but direct voice, sprinkled with a genuine sense of grandfatherly humor, and the occasional dad joke.

But at the same time, I've discovered he causes friction within the Christian community, apparently for saying things that we all mutter under our breath or say aloud over cigars and whiskey. But he's much more cheerful about them.
