Pat & Jon on Their Best Behavior

The boys are still taking a break, but they got back in the saddle this week to talk the Oscars in the lead-up to this Sunday's ceremony. What two movies (one feel-good, one feel-bad) are duking it out for Best Picture? Which movie stands a chance of denying Pat and Jon's beloved "Licorice Pizza" a Best Original Screenplay win? Who's probably going to take home an acting award for a movie Pat has literally never heard of? Jon answers all the questions you're (not) asking, and Pat adds "Sam Elliott" to his list of terrible impressions.

No guests this week—just your co-hosts and some vibes! After announcing that this episode will be the last for a little bit while they put some prep in for next season, the boys talk Tom Brady's retirement/legacy (Pat brought it up, not Jon!) and whether "Euphoria" (or art in general) has as much power/influence as anyone seems to think it does. But for the most part, they discuss how and why our relationship to art/media has been fundamentally warped by, well... *gestures toward the entire world*.

The gang discusses which picks the WGA got right, which ones they got wrong, and which ones would appear on our lists if someone only had the good sense to ask! The boys also pick Brittany's brain on what she looks for in a screenplay as a talent agent, and Pat insults the city of Cleveland multiple times—but by accident, for a change!
