CNN has been in the news (on top of covering it) recently because they published a controversial story about Donald Trump's connections to Russia, an action that led to the resignation of three journalists. The story allegedly connected Senior Advisor Anthony Scaramucci to the Russian direct investment fund, but once again, the authors had only one source, who was not named. CNN has since retracted the story for this reason.

A professor from the University of Delaware has been fired for her very controversial statements regarding the death of Otto Warmbier. Professor Katherine Dettwyler said that Warmbier deserved his fate because he was a 'rich white male' who thought he could do whatever he wanted both at home and inside North Korea. Needless to say, her comments aren't too popular with the guys, either.
