Pathway to Victory

Following the successful mission to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities, I opened our service this morning at First Baptist Dallas by addressing the momentous events that have captured the world’s attention. I reminded our congregation of a truth we must never forget—God stands with Israel, and so must we. Israel is not just another nation. It is the only nation created by God with a divine promise of endurance. When the world questions Israel’s right to exist or possess its land, the Bible answers unequivocally. That land was given to God’s people, and to strike Israel is to strike the apple of God’s eye. This week, as President Trump faced immense pressure from all sides, I sent him a personal message of encouragement and reminded him that millions of Christians were praying fervently for him. I told him, “Because we know you and who you are, we're going to trust and support whatever decision you end up making.” And he made the right one. Following those remarks, I invited our church to kneel together in prayer, and our Senior Executive Pastor, Dr. Ben Lovvorn, led us in a powerful time of intercession. We specifically prayed for:

• President Trump and his protection
• Our brave military
• The nation of Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu
• God's continued blessing and protection over the United States

But this crisis is not just political or military. It is spiritual. More Information Here: https://ptv.org/israel/

It’s impossible to change your behavior without first changing your heart. But when you make an intentional effort, transformation is possible! Dr. Robert Jeffress outlines a detailed, biblical plan for the process of spiritual transformation.   To support Pathway to Victory, go to ptv.org/donate.

The essence of discipleship is a changed life that comes from a transformed heart. But why is it necessary to transform our hearts? Who is responsible for making that happen? And what does the transformation process look like? Dr. Robert Jeffress answers those questions and more.   To support Pathway to Victory, go to ptv.org/donate.

To imitate someone we admire means that we try to mimic their attitudes and actions. So if our desire is to become more like Jesus, we need to pattern our lives after His. Dr. Jeffress describes the primary passion of Jesus, which should in turn become our passion as well!   To support Pathway to Victory, go to ptv.org/donate.

Everyone has a goal in life. For some it’s building wealth or making a name for themselves. But as followers of Jesus, we have a much higher calling. Dr. Robert Jeffress reminds us of our greatest purpose: a mission of spiritual search and rescue!   To support Pathway to Victory, go to ptv.org/donate.

Becoming a Christian is easy. But living the Christian life? Not so much. Dr. Robert Jeffress teaches from Luke chapter 14, where Jesus clearly outlines the cost—and rewards—of following Him unconditionally.   To support Pathway to Victory, go to ptv.org/donate.

When Jesus invited people to become His disciple, He gave them one simple command: Leave everything behind and follow me. No if’s, but’s, or maybe later’s. Dr. Robert Jeffress suggests that the cost of following Jesus now is no less severe.   To support Pathway to Victory, go to ptv.org/donate.

One of the most common concerns about Christianity is this: How could a loving God send good people to hell? On the surface, it’s a convincing question. But Dr. Robert Jeffress shows that all of us are worthy of eternal judgment. Gratefully, Jesus has provided a solution!   To support Pathway to Victory, go to ptv.org/donate.

When you bow your head to pray, are you confident that God even hears you? Or do you feel like your words are falling on deaf ears? Dr. Robert Jeffress draws practical application for your prayer life from the most familiar prayer in all of Scripture. Be assured, God is listening!   To support Pathway to Victory, go to ptv.org/donate.

In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus describes four types of “soil” into which the Word of God can be sown, from hard to healthy. Where do you fall along that spectrum? Dr. Robert Jeffress diagnoses these four conditions of the human heart and offers three prescriptions for spiritual health.   To support Pathway to Victory, go to ptv.org/donate.
