girls we are BACK and we have a lot to get into this week 🎙️ bex is turning 32 in less than two weeks and niv just hit 30 — and between them they have decided that your late 20s feel so much harder and more pressured than your 30s, why we put ourselves on timelines that don't serve us, and why the only timeline that matters is your own 💫

we also get into some live updates and opinions on coachella weekend one and why we loved that there was no uniform style this year, irish girlies representing hard, sabrina carpenter absolutely delivering with will ferrell and susan sarandon in a seven minute monologue, and why lauren whelan should just get on the flight and go & anyone policing her for it needs to have a serious word with themselves!!! why do we feel the need to police influencers anyway?

then we get into the important stuff!!! niv stayed up until 1am on a saturday to watch the artemis two spacecraft land safely back on earth and she is calling it her super bowl, project hail mary is the best movie bex has seen in years (bex cried multiple times, niv is seeing it tonight, no spoilers please), niv is actively grieving the estee lauder double wear reformulation and it should be renamed single wear at this point, the ingredient that got removed from basically every full coverage foundation and bex gives her makeup artist recommendations on what foundation samples to try instead, alix earl's real actives skincare launch and the reactive marketing moment we actually loved, and the irish petrol and haulier protests: why disruption is literally the point of a protest and why the government has the power to end it at any time!!!

girls we are back!!! sorry for the little break — niv had 10 days of migraines so severe her doctor was considering sending her to hospital, but she survived and she got her pink ipad so we move 🩷 this week: niv finally dissolved her lip filler and bex is obsessed with her teeth, why the clean girl aesthetic has run its course and how can we bring back the tack (smudgy liner, name tattoos, untoned bleached hair, we are READY), why things that AI can't replicate are trending and what that means, kim kardashian's messy hair at the skims nike event, kim and lewis hamilton and why we simply cannot picture it, the winter olympics and a skier who decided to confess to cheating on live TV after winning (men!!!!!), why nobody talks about the luteal phase being worse than your actual period, why we don't talk about christina aguilera enough as a society, our saturn return being officially over on february 13th and what that means for you depending on your sign, bex's valentine's story involving flowers and her home address that had us all like ???, niv is going to galway for valentine's day 🥹 pancake tuesday vs chinese new year, can you celebrate both? and what are we giving up for lent 👀

girls we are BACK and niv finally has wi-fi again 🎉 after 4 and a half weeks of hotspotting, 50 phone calls to vodafone and a formal complaint, it turns out it was a wrong serial number on a box the whole time!!! this week: it's saint brigid's day and niv has done the research, turns out brigid wasn't really a saint, she was a pagan goddess of spring, fire, poetry and healing who allegedly helped a nun access bodily autonomy, and the catholic church basically just adopted her 👀 niv and bex grew up on the same street in kerry, what would their lives have looked like if niv never moved??? the all-girls catholic school vs coed debate, why bex's year at presentation was actually immaculate, and little niv making and selling handmade magazines to her classmates for two euro (with a gift taped to the front, obviously) 🎀 the long bob conversation we all needed: never go straight for the bob, always start with the long bob, and nine times out of ten that celebrity bob is a wig!!! niv is cutting her hair ahead of her 30th and we weigh in, why hair holds energy and what you're really letting go of when you cut it, the floods in ireland and the river that literally runs underneath their hometown.
