Mark 4:38-41 NLT

“ Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat with his head on a cushion. The disciples woke him up, shouting, “Teacher, don’t you care that we’re going to drown?” (39) When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. (40) Then he asked them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?” (41) The disciples were absolutely terrified. “Who is this man?” they asked each other. “Even the wind and waves obey him!”

(33) Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”

“ Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. (7) Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”

イエスを見ると、船尾のほうで眠っておられます。弟子たちは気が気ではありません。すっかり動転して、イエスを呼び起こしました。「先生！　舟が沈みかけているのに、よく平気でいられますね！」(39) イエスはゆっくり起き上がると、風をしかり、湖に「静まれ」と言われました。するとどうでしょう。たちまち風はやみ、湖は何事もなかったかのような大なぎになりました。

(40) イエスは弟子たちに言われました。「どうしてそんなにこわがるのですか。まだわたしが信じられないのですか。」(41) 弟子たちは、ただもう恐怖に打ちのめされて、「ああ、なんというお方だ。風や湖までが従うとは」と、ささやき合いました。

ですから、食べ物や着物のことは、何も心配しなくていいのです。 (32) ほんとうの神を信じない人たちのまねをしてはいけません。彼らは、それらがたくさんあることを鼻にかけ、そうした物に心を奪われています。しかし天の父は、それらがあなたがたに必要なことをよくご存じです。 (33) 神を第一とし、神が望まれるとおりの生活をしなさい。そうすれば、必要なものは、神が与えてくださいます。

3.神様を信頼する＝平安を受け取る

何事も心配しないで、どんな時でも神に祈りなさい。そして、祈りに答えてくださる神に感謝しましょう。 (7) そうすれば、人間の理解をはるかに超えた、すばらしい神の平安を経験します。キリスト・イエスにあって、その平安はあなたがたの心と思いを静め、安らかにしてくれるのです。
