Michelle has received many questions about Baptism over the past couple of years from people of various backgrounds. She wanted to provide a space for a conversation to help people understand some of the different beliefs surrounding Baptism.

In this episode, Flame takes us through his transformative journey, sharing how his beliefs about Baptism have changed from his Calvinistic background to his current beliefs as a Lutheran.

Michelle sits down with Chad Bird to talk about his book, Hitchhiking with Prophets. Chad is a scholar in residence at 1517 and host of popular Bible podcasts like "40 Minutes in the Old Testament".

In "Hitchhiking with Prophets," Chad aims to make the biblical narrative accessible even to those with little prior knowledge. Drawing from his podcast episodes outlining Old Testament stories, he vividly brings to life the engrossing accounts. A key focus is tracing the developing promise of the Messiah woven throughout the Old Testament.

Because the book covers all of the Old Testament, Michelle and Chad decided to focus in on the time of the Judges and Kings.

Chad talks about the time of the Judges, and Michelle asks him to talk more about Deborah.

They look at the first three kings and Michelle asks Chad why Jesus is called the Son of David?
