Galatians 5.
The fruits of the Spirit will not bring condemnation and an ultimatum. No pressure, and feelings of loneliness. Praise God that He is a Comforter.
Quit trying to save yourself. We have a Savior for the very reason we can't.
He has already forgiven you at the Cross. Take your seat at His table.
DO NOT let the past define you, and DO NOT enslave yourself to shame and guilt. Embrace the conqueror you are in Christ. Embrace His Grace- we all need it. Embrace His salvation and redemption.
Our Faith in God will not fail, because He is Faithful and will not fail.
Praise the Lord through the Fire.

You have to meet yourself where you are at because that is where God is.
You can't be held up by His strength if you are holding onto your weaknesses.
It is okay to not be okay.
Faith is an active gift, just like grace.
Be vulnerable with God.

We seek because we know what we are looking for. We seek out of knowing the Source. To want healing is not to turn to the things we need healed from. To desire confidence in the Lord is to not look for insecurity, but to desire for Him to be exalted in our lives, knowing that He will give us the confidence and boldness we need. We have His Spirit, we have His Word, we have His Son. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We seek Him, we will find Him. Our ways will align with His Way, because we are allowing Him to work as we rest knowing that it is all through Him. "Embrace that dependence on Him" (wise words from Nichelle)
Identify what you are looking for and open the Word to see that you will find it through Him. Embrace how the Lord is exalting Himself in your life and turn away from the things that are leaving you still needing fulfilled. The Lord is graciously waiting with mercy.

January 21, 2022 don't walk in insecurity, walk in Peace
When we walk out our insecurities, we become vulnerable- not seeing the opportunities of the world as distractions from the path of the Lord. Until you know your worth from God, you will not be able to see the path He has for you. Even as a Christian, if you are living in fear, you will not see that you are already on His path- that He is already directing your steps. Be immoveable and steadfast in the Lord. Do not allow insecurities and fears to take over- not allowing you to move. Know yourself as the Creator knows you- PRAY FOR THAT, so that as you are aligned with Him, you can clearly see deception.

A life in Freedom will not look a life where you are still chained. A new life in Christ is recognizing that He is the ONLY One that can fill the void that you used to try to fill in any in your old life. Friend, you are not your past, you are not the sin committed. Recognize that His grace allows us to move forward not seeking sin as our human nature does but seeking Him instead. That we desire Him because of who He is, and that we understand that it is only by Him that we are free and given a new life. You are not the feelings of your flesh, and you have hope in conquering temptation through the One who conquered death on the Cross. Jesus died with our sins, so we did not have to live a life chained by them. Live the new life you have in Christ.

January 08, 2022 You are a Product of Love!
Self-love in a God-honoring way is recognizing that you are loved by Jesus, and that the capability to love comes from Him, who is Love. We are called to love God and love our neighbors AS OURSELVES-which means you give what you already have- not giving in hopes of 'being loved', but loving because you know that you already are, and want to share that. You cannot love with hate, and you also cannot hate yourself into loving yourself.
Recognizing that you are loved is not selfish, because it is recognizing that you have His Spirit within you which includes the Spirit of love- and allows you to know love and to give love (including to yourself). What we do is through Him, for Him, and to Him.
Where Love is, so is His presence. Understand that you can see His love all around you- yourself included.
The love you are showing yourself isn't coming from you- but comes from within, through Jesus, which allows it to be sustainable, never needing validation from an outside source.
Where we lack, He overflows.
