Gina and Don, parents of 3 happy children were going about their lives when suddenly their world turned upside down. Their oldest daughter was having a sleepover when suddenly she became afraid of stepping on the floor and entering her bedroom. This became the beginning of her struggling with OCD. Unfortunately, Their other daughter fell victim to the challenging disorder as well. The entire family underwent significant challenges and therapy to help support these girls’ healing. Today Gina and Don are Behavioral Transformation Specialists where they help guide other families through similar struggles. After life knocked Lari down she fell into a heavy depression. Lari found herself paralyzed from her sadness and struggled with suicidal thoughts and reaching out to friends for support. Kim was going about her days when suddenly at 52 she had her first of what would be many seizures. After many tests she was diagnosed with a non-epileptic psychogenic seizure disorder. In this episode Kim shares how the seizures have prompted her to begin to deal with some of her demons from the past. While Kim’s seizures have changed how Kim lives her life. She continues to find gratitude and joy in her growing family. Kim has embraced and accepted that she may deal with these seizures for some time and wants others to feel comfortable talking about this not well known challenge.
