In Peacemaker season two, Sasha Bordeaux is revealed to be a cyborg, possessing enhanced cybernetic vision. This reveal connects to her comic book origins, where she first appeared in Detective Comics #751 as Bruce Wayne's personal security and later became a cyborg after being attacked by an OMAC drone during Infinite Crisis. In the comics, she also worked for the government agency Checkmate, eventually becoming the Black Queen.
