Julianne's birthday has officially come and gone, and this is her recap on the day and how she feels about being 17 as a whole. 

Julianne's note: I completely forgot to mention just how LONG being 16 felt, but thank you for everyone who entered my life at 16 years old!! It's difficult to be someone who is constantly treated as an outsider in their own country - and yes, America is our country. We grew up here, and although we root ourselves in our Asian ethnic backgrounds, we also want to say that we are also American through and through regardless the color of our skin. In this episode, we talk about the Atlanta spa shooting, how this hate crime stems much deeper than a "bad day," and why it is so important to us. We urge you - please listen and try to understand what we are saying because this is not a debate, a competition, or a war between the races. As human beings, we should all stand together in these trying times and spread love, not hate.

Impromtu solo podcast!! Honestly, I'm not really sure what my schedule for today is, but I thought it'd be nice to share what's been going on in my life, what I'm doing for school, and my college planning stuff (that I haven't FULLY finished, but I'm making strides). Wow, we're literally JUNIORS? This isn't new... but it's never going to get any more normal considering it's always the most nerve-wracking year of high school since we're thinking about going to college after graduation. We are in the process of thinking about it, and we thought it would be nice to air out our minds while sharing it with all of you. Maybe you have a similar mindset, or something completely different - it's okay, but come and sit with us and listen to our hectic ideas anyways :)

In this podcast, we address the strange phenomenon of New Year's Resolutions and how it's important for some self growth. The past year was pretty crazy, and we want to talk as much as we can about the importance of prioritizing yourself and being in a stable, healthy relationship - whether its with your significant other, family, or just yourself.

The winter season is here and let's just say we're excited... and scared? Not of the snow, but because of midterms, college, the whole shebang. Along with the weird aspect of relationships, but hey - its hot cocoa season! Come sit down with us and talk about the snowy season.

So I'm sure we all know what COVID-19 is by now, and how it's just become a daily part of our lives at this point. It's been over a year, officially speaking, and we think it's a good time to talk about how big little miss rona has become. In all seriousness, we are still in a pandemic - so let's sit down and talk, yeah? Or go out, we don't mind... just remember to wear a mask and sanitize, please!! xx

I didn't get to saying this in the podcast - but happy 25th episode! A quarter to 100... that's crazy. Jess and I are beyond grateful for all your support, even if she isn't on this episode to say so.
