I don’t know, maybe there is some truth to that. One of my best friends just told me his daughter is getting married. Maybe it was spring?

Flowers are blooming, bees are buzzing, birds are building nests - is that where the whole “Birds and bees thing” comes in?

Spring is here and love is in the air.

According to people to study such things there is a scientific reason for all that spring time love . . . .

Don’t you wish people would just mind their business, sometimes?

I have a new friend. A good man who is helping me learn the ins and outs of running a farm. I like him. I anticipate we will have a deep and long lasting friendship. But… sometimes I wish he would keep an opinion or 2 to himself. Especially when it comes to some of the details about how we intend to run our family farm.

Trusting God At All Times Daily Devotional. I love running water. One of my favorite things to do is to grab my camera and shoot background footage for the church. Invariably I will end up near a body of water, typically a creek or very small river and I just can’t resist the urge to hike along the bank until I find a spot I can set up my camera and film that spot of running water. There’s just something about the water splashing over rocks, or tree limbs - sometimes fallen flowers - any number of items create an atmosphere for me that speaks peace.

Written by Episcopal priest Fleming Rutledge who is from Franklin VA, "The Undoing of Death," has become a powerful read for me as I reflect on the consequences of Easter. I think she is correct when she says the human spirit. left on its own will not do well. But the person who depends on God's spirit, that Holy Spirit of the Bible will prosper.

I’m not referring to the state of the cleanliness of your house.

I’m talking about YOU, your inner workings, the health of your spirit, your soul.
