Introduction to the book of Malachi.

Scripture - Habakkuk 3:17-19

Believing that we will always be experiencing the promised goodness of God should be the determining factor for our joy.  This is what gives Habakkuk joy in the midst of sorrow and loss and terrible circumstances.  He has faith beyond sight that He will still be experiencing the promised goodness of God; yes, even in his loss.  He believes (beyond what he sees and feels) that He will always be experiencing the promised goodness of God, regardless of the situation.  This is his solid ground for joy.

Scripture - Habakkuk 3:16

When we are enabled by God to hear the Word of God, and to behold with eyes of faith the glory, power, righteousness, justice, and mercy of God, then we are transformed so that we can wait with a quiet and trembling trust for God to act on our behalf for His glory.
