The New Orleans Pelicans get their first win of the season, 116–112 over the Charlotte Hornets. After an emotional stretch and multiple lineup changes, the Pelicans finally punched back and closed a tight game late.

This was the 2nd test of playing without Zion, and the Pelicans handled it much better than the first time.
