The New Orleans Pelicans finally showed some fight in a 126-124 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers — and this one felt different. The Pelicans punched back, Zion took over in the second half, Jordan Poole thrived as a 6th man, and the new starting lineup may actually make sense going forward.

But the defensive identity still isn’t there — and the Pelicans now look ahead to the OKC Thunder, the defending NBA Champs.
