The Small Business Council tries their hand at figuring out how Denny's figures into the magickal underground. It goes as well as can be expected.
The party decides to take some down time and visit a completely normal carnival in the middle of the woods. Of course, the party is immediately suspicious of this absolutely average carnival and set out to prove they are right by ruining it for everyone. Will these negative Nancies destroy the most fun thing they've encountered? Yes, yes they will.
In this spectacular ending of the Big Easy campaign, the vampires try diplomacy and explosions on for size. It goes pretty well! Also, we talk about Greg Jennings and putting the team on our backs.
The party decides to finally do something about a particular sword shaped thorn in their side; by making a pact with the very much a human Jimmothy, they enter the sword's mind and try to figure out where it all went wrong and find a way to make it better. But is there really anyway to fix a sword named Genocide?
The end is here! Their plans spoiled, the mayor's cult is forced into drastic measures, resulting in some very, very messed up results. The Small Business Council is on the job, ready to stop the cult no matter what. This is the final Unknown Armies campaign involving the Small Business Council... or is it?
Wild Hunt is back! When we last left our adventurers they were squaring off against the General in the middle of the Fey Queen's throne room; how will they best this monster from the dawn of time, who literally wields a sword named Genocide? And who is the mysterious new friend they make this session?
There's too many snakes in this episode! Oggie has been kidnapped (sort of) by the personification of the Leviathan and her wife, the Loch Ness monster for some sort of strange ritual involving sea monsters and the "lake line." Olivia and Zoe go to save their favorite cryptid (the only one they really know, if we're being honest) and stop the nefarious plot hatched by Leslie and Ness. Also, they get really, really, really drunk.
In this, the penultimate episode of In The Cards, the cabal puts the final touches on dealing with the mayor's cult, as JP dodges (and apologizes for) an assassination attempt against him, Raven becomes a community leader, Brobert shows he's a man of peace and love, and Chuck finally deals with Bob once and for all. Also Chuck gets a nice surprise that will not come into play ever at all.
This is character creation for our next Saturday campaign, which takes place in Julia's home city of Youngstown! Urban Shadows is a Powered By the Apocalypse game of neo-noir urban fantasy, where the characters are constantly inching ever closer to becoming the corruption they seek to save their city from. We've got Shell as the Fae, Mix as the Tainted, Heave as the Hunter, Dijon as the Hallowed, and Joe as the Wizard, each of which is ready to be plunged directly into Julia's shitty re-imagining of Youngstown as a den of occult corruption and crime. Come for the long discussion of Youngstown's history and socio-economic make up, stay for the fact that every character knows each other thanks them all playing a specific MMO.
The cabal deals with the fall out of their numerous murders, which is a pretty normal sentence to think about. Brobert proves he'll do anything to win, Chuck proves he won't, and Raven does some very silly things. Also J.P. makes a new friend.
