Today we have Tyler Schmitt, co-host of Card Talk Podcast and one of the best humans we’ve ever met. Tyler took us under his wing almost immediately when we moved from Michigan to New York and has been like an older brother to us since.

We discussed various topics, including his decade-long journey working alongside Gary and AJ Vaynerchuk. Fast forwarding present day, the changes he’s seen within the company have been insane, and all his hard work has paid off in the end. 

We then go back in time to talk about who Tyler was growing up and what led him down his current life path. We discuss his childhood growing up playing lacrosse in New Jersey and his trials and tribulations at Penn State, going from almost failing every class freshman year due to having too much time on his hands. Then excelling at a high level in and outside of the classroom.

Everything changed once he joined the lacrosse team as a manager forcing him to be more efficient with the tight schedule that pushed him to stay on top of everything.
