Danita Andrews, Chief Business Development Officer for Florida West EDA, joins the Pensacola Expert Panel to share exciting news about a major public-private partnership that will bring innovative technology and manufacturing jobs as well as economic development to our community. The $21 million dollar project is being made possible through economic development partnerships and collaboration with Pensacola State College, Space Florida, and Triump Gulf Coast to establish a Florida satellite of the LIFT advanced manufacturing institute which will act as a technology accelerator working at the intersection of materials science, manufacturing processes, systems engineering and talent development to move technologies from concept to commercialization while preparing the advanced workforce of tomorrow.
