University of Aarhus, Denmark, and is a former graduate trainee with the European Space Agency's Corporate Knowledge Management Team and a co-author of the following:

Carol Cole is an Award-Winning Business Development and Marketing Professional with 20+ years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry. Based an hour outside of Philadelphia, she is an Assistant Vice President of Business Development for XS Brokers, an insurance wholesaler.

Her exposure to philanthropy developed in college while becoming a member of Delta Zeta, a national sorority where she was Philanthropy Chair and President.

When not working her 9 to 5, Carol is a Wish Grantor for Make- A-Wish. She works on the Greater Pennsylvania / West Virginia Make-A-Wish team. Her team grants wishes to critically ill children from the ages of 2 to 18.

She also is involved with Berks Encore, a local non-profit based in Berks County, Pennsylvania.

Matthew Viel has Twenty-five years in transformational leadership, team building and innovation in the U.S. Department of Defense with a major focus in Knowledge Management and innovation.

Dr. Liz Herman is a Director of Knowledge Management at Senture, LLC, which specializes in providing large-scale, complex contact center services. She has provided KM solutions for both commercial and Federal Government agencies for over 25 years and recently concluded a KM effort with the United States Department of Agriculture enabling it to provide accurate and timely content to its

farmers, ranchers, and producers through a central knowledge base. She holds a PhD in Applied Management and Decision Sciences with a KM specialization, an MA in English with a Rhetoric, Composition, and Professional Communication specialization, and a BA in Journalism. She is PMP certified and was recently honored as an Associate Fellow by the Society for Technical Communication

for her contributions to the field.

After just one year, she has launched the university’s new strategic plan, added market-driven academic programs that prioritize career preparation, acquired The Rixey luxury apartment building for use as a new residence life option, and improved the university’s IT infrastructure through the implementation of Workday.

Dr. Irma Becerra took office as the seventh President of Marymount University on July 1, 2018. She is a nationally recognized educator known for innovation, entrepreneurship, and transformational education. Prior to Marymount, she served as Provost and Chief Academic Officer at St. Thomas University, and also spent three decades at Florida International University (FIU) in a variety of positions that include Vice President, Vice Provost, Entrepreneurship Center Director, and tenured professor. She became the first woman to earn a Ph.D. in electrical engineering at FIU.
