Former child actor, now standup comedian and podcast host, Mitch Holleman tells me the story of how he went from booking TV commercials in Florida, to moving to NY, and eventually to LA... where he landed the role of Jake, the 6 year old son of Reba McIntyre's character on the sitcom Reba. Mitch was on that show 6 years, but later on at age 15, he saw his friend, comedian Victor Trevino perform. And Mitch was truly, truly inspired.

Today’s guest is singer/songwriter, Geneva May. Originally from the Bay Area, Geneva plays piano, guitar, and ukulele. Geneva has always been a creative person into theater, acting, and even producing. But it was in college at Las Positas College where Geneva met two teachers who had a profound impact on her.  Ian Brekke in the music department, and Titian Lish in the theater department. Stand up comedian Brent Sullivan was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan and also graduated from the University of Michigan right up the street. This Wolverine has opened for David Cross and Bob Odenkirk, been on the Pete Holmes Show, and been on Conan. But Brent also recalls he and his brother growing up on Seinfeld -- the show, and the standup comedy of the man himself, Jerry Seinfeld.
