Ep 29 - Tis the season, right? Rather than talk about a normal wishlist for this time of year, Alan and Tim have put together their grail wishlists. What would we want to get if money, space, availability and practicality weren't concerns? If the sky is the limit, what are the things we want the most? Join us and let us know what's on your list.
Ep 27 - Tim is rearranging things. This involved going through his attic, moving some things around and making some decisions. What should be held on to? How many empty boxes does one need? Is he even collecting in a way that makes sense to him anymore? What started out as a way to make some space has turned into much, much more. Plus the usual Invention Exchange and other shenanigans.
Ep 26 - Who doesn't like a ranked list to argue about? We've decided to tackle the thorny topic of tar Wars TV shows. What did we like? What didn't we like as much? What do we want to see in the future? We definitely agree on some, but not on others. Let us know what you think. But before we get into that, we're going to talk a bit about Tim's recent trip to San Diego for the annual Rocket From The Crypt Halloween show. There was food eaten, shirts bought and toy stores visited.
Ep 25 - NYCC is in the books and Alan was there. He's got pictures, news and thoughts on the event and Tim will be there to chime in with his opinions on the news and reveals coming out of this year's four day New York extravaganza.
Ep 24 - How did we get where we are now? This week, we're going to try to dig deep and identify the 5 albums that were the most impactful on our lives and musical taste, not our 5 favorites, but the five that truly defined a fork in the road and a path taken. We expect some surprises and a lot of hand wringing and sidebars about other albums that didn't quite make the list. Come on in and tell us about the albums that changed your life.
Ep 23 - We'll be talking about handheld video games this week. How it started, how it went, how it's going. Retro consoles, emulators and all that good stuff. Does As we go through Alan's pile of systems, will it be determined that he does, in fact collect handheld systems? (He does) Plus the usual invention exchange and other assorted nonsense. Come say hello.
Ep 22 - When Scott joined us to talk about McDonald's a few weeks ago we went long and still didn't get to everything, so he's back to keep the discussion going. We'll talk about Scott and Tim both working at McDonald's in the early 90s and Tim will give an update on navigating Pacsun's McDonaldland merch drop (which was way more complicated than you'd think). The last show was one of the funnest we've done so far, come join us for part 2!
Ep 21 - We're back, and we have the combination. Alan is back from Disney and he'll be recapping some of the highlights and talking about the nostalgic things that keep him going back. But first, we're going to talk about the Snow C.A.T. HasLab aftermath. Did Tim back it? Let's find out.
Ep 20 - With McDonald's recent reintroduction of the McDonaldland Cinematic Universe and its wonderful characters, we're finally tackling a show topic that we've been talking about and planning for ages. McDonald's! The food, the folks, the fun, the Happy Meals, the wacky promotions. Will we sing the entire Menu Song? There's at least a 60% chance. Tim and Alan are also joined by Scott, who by coincidence worked at McDonald's as a teenager at pretty much the exact same time Tim did. Grab your McD.L.T. and join us.
Ep 19 - Last minute idea? No Problem. We're going to talk a little bit about Disney World trips today. Alan's a big fan. Tim's gone a few times. Let's see what happens when there's been virtually no planning and we put this together in the span of a few minutes. What could go wrong?
