Perfectly Excellent

Ep 18 - We're diving in for a recap of the 2025 SDCC. Perhaps not as exhaustive as some other folks out there, but Alan and Tim have compiled a list of highlights and lowlights to talk about. Were we impressed with Hasbro's Star Wars Black Series or G.I. Joe Classified? Did a smaller company like Jada Toys or Super7 win the day? What surprise caught us totally off guard? And oh yeah, crowdfunds. Let's get it on!

Ep 17 - Fernando (@chava.fernando on Instagram) is joining Alan and Tim for a bonus early edition of Perfectly Excellent to talk about Video Games and our Notalgia for older consoles, What were our first systems that got us hooked, what do we still play and what video game items do we collect.

Ep 16 - Tim has a lot of T shirts. Alan has questions about T shirts. This should make for a lively discussion about T shirts. But first, we're going to do our Invention Exchange, get an update from Tim on his Snow C.A.T. Haslab decision and go over some of the G.I. Joe Classified reveals from last week. And then, shirts!

Ep 15 - This episode will be less focused on collecting and more on those nostalgic hits of dopamine that snack foods give us. We're going to talk about some foods that are gone that we wish would come back, others that are still around but we've had to stop eating and still more that we probably should stop eating, but can't quite do that just yet. Hopefully this will be the juggernaut episode that makes companies rethink the glorious treats that they've cast into their food graveyards.

Ep 14 - This week, we're going to delve into our preorder habits. Both of us typically have at least a few (putting it mildly) preorders that we're excited about. What's the oldest one in our pile? What are we excited about? What's annoying? Plus we'll check in on how Tim is coming along with his decision on whether or not to back the G.I. Joe Classified Snow C.A.T. and if Alan has been able to hold off on buying the Switch 2 yet.

Ep 13 - While we have done a few mini segments about poking around eBay in the past, today Alan & Tim are going to dig a little deeper and discuss out eBay habits. How do we use it, what is it like compared to the early days. What's been great and what are some of the worst experiences we've had. As usual, there's a lot of places we can go. We'll also be talking a bit about the G.I. Joe Classified HasLab. Is Tim going to get a Snow C.A.T.? Another thing to discuss.

Ep 12 - Alan and Tim are going to keep digging into why we collect and what we collect. This time, we're going to talk about what happened after we stopped playing with toys as kids. Those teenage years where habits really start to take hold. Did we start collecting things? When did nostalgia become something we were aware of? Lots to unpack here

Ep 11 - Time for another Six Demon Bag episode, where we tackle a few smaller topics (doesn't have to be six). This week, Alan and Tim are going to have the usual Invention Exchange so we can see some recent purchases. We're going to talk a little bit about Yo Joe June and the recent reveals and preorders. Then we'll chat about the announcement of Spaceballs 2. Finally we'll wrap things up with some discussion on the recent Star Wars Retro Collection box set and compare those figures to some of the unofficial Kenner-style figures that Tim has purchased.

Ep 09 - Alan & Tim begin a multi-part series about their collecting origins. Why are re so broken. Let's find out. Today, we're talking about early childhood and some of the toys and other items that captured our imaginations before we crossed the line in collecting.

Ep 08 - What's a Six Demon Bag? Wind. Fire. All that kind of thing. Alan and Tim are chatting about a bunch of different topics today. It's a smorgasbord type episode. We have six items on the agenda, maybe we'll get to them all, maybe not. Let's find out if we can tackle the Invention Exchange, the new Star Wars Galaxy's Edge walkthroughs on Disney Plus, Unboxing a flat of Godzilla Minus One Blind Boxes, The new Star Wars Fortnite release, The eBay Browse and thoughts on Andor so far.
